2030: The Wales Green Economy

Wales has chosen to be a beacon of sustainability and to make renewable energy a cornerstone of its identity. In doing so, Wales will reap greater economic benefit, grow local and community ownership of the Welsh economy and tackle fuel poverty.

As power sources continue to decarbonise, the next challenge is to ensure industries previously reliant on fossil fuels can transfer to these new sources of energy.
A group of key stakeholders meet to discuss how, by working together, Wales can and must shape a cleaner, greener chapter in its industrial journey.

The session will explore why sustainable energy is crucial for the Welsh economy, how Wales can improve its energy efficiency and how Welsh businesses, local and community organisations can be supported to capitalise on (and lead) the shift to smarter energy technology and business transformation.
